Professional Experience
Pierre Gattuso opened his law firm specializing in advertising and marketing law as well as regulatory law and governmental affairs in 2002. Mr. Gattuso was previously a partner in a major national law firm and managed its advertising and marketing law group in its Montreal office. In addition to his experience in private practice, Mr. Gattuso held various industry positions. He began his career at Québecair as Head of Market Development and General Counsel (Québec). He then successively held the positions of Assistant to the President and Director of Governmental Affairs in one of the largest Canadian breweries, where he was also in charge of all legal matters for the Québec division. More recently, he was Executive Vice-President of Fromagerie l’Ancêtre Inc. Over his 32 years of practice, he acquired extensive experience in all matters relating to the marketing, advertising, promotion and distribution of products and services, as well as regulatory and governmental affairs.

Education Background
Mr. Gattuso was called to the Bar of Québec in 1976. He completed a Bachelor of Laws at the Université Laval and obtained a post-graduate Diploma in Air and Space Law from the McGill University Institute of Air and Space Law.

Industry Associations
Mr. Gattuso sat a few years on the Standing Committee of the Association des Brasseurs du Québec as a representative of a major Canadian brewery. He was elected to the board of directors of the Association québécoise des transporteurs aériens du Québec (1984-1986). He was elected Vice-President of the Air and Space Law Section (Québec) of the Canadian Bar Association (1984-86).

Professional Activities
• Member of the Canadian Bar Association; • Member of the Association of Students of the McGill Air and Space Law Institute.

Participation in Charitable Organization
Mr. Gattuso worked within several charitable organizations such as Centraide and the Canadian Cancer Society, and, from 1986 to 1990, he chaired the Molson Companies Regional Donations Committee (Québec) and sat on the organization’s National Committee.
