Achievements
•  Obtained all approvals from the R.A.C.J. and Recyc-Québec on behalf of two major international breweries, allowing it to sell its
    products in grocery stores across the province of Québec.
•  Obtained favourable settlements on behalf of several alcohol permit holders operating within major establishments (restaurant 
    chains, hotels, etc.) in Montreal and in the province, thereby avoiding an interruption of their business operations.
•  Participated directly in settling injunction proceedings threatened against an advertising campaign for a major beer brand.
•  Following the service of a notice of hearing alleging a series of breaches of the laws governing alcoholic beverages, negotiated 
    a favourable out-of court settlement of the alleged offences on behalf of a major Canadian brewery.
•  By offering training sessions to advertising agency representatives and marketing department personnel, restored the credibility of a
    major Canadian brewery with the R.A.C.J. by ensuring that the business activities (promotion, advertisement, sales and distribution) 
    were carried out in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
•  Within a five-month period, carried out a mandate in order to repurchase all fourteen distribution agencies and twenty-seven 
    warehouses across the province of Québec for a major Canadian brewery.
•  During a massive product recall for the largest beer brand in Québec, obtained, in less than 24 hours, the required approvals from 
    the R.A.C.J. and the CRTC for the purposes of offering compensation to consumers through the media.
•  Negotiated and obtained a favourable settlement in an expropriation matter with respect to the construction of the Ville-Marie highway.
•  Obtained an option from the Montreal municipal authorities on an 800,000-square foot parcel of land, thereby allowing his client 
    to expand following a merger.
•  Negotiated the acquisition of two major real estate properties in order to ensure his client’s expansion.
•  Negotiated a ten-year lease on very favourable terms for a new bottle-sorting centre in Boucherville (300,000 sq. ft. of space).
•  Negotiated and settled a major dispute between his client and the Société d’habitation de la Ville de Montréal relating to the use of 
    land located on the Fabourg-Québec site.
•  Coordinated the legal work to obtain financing of 40 million dollars.
•  Participated directly in the committee of the Association des Brasseurs du Québec formed to obtain the exclusion of the brewing 
    industry from the Free Trade Agreement with the United States, with a resulting recommendation to that effect by the Government 
    of Québec.
•  Successfully prepared and coordinated an application for a refund of taxes on consumer products.
•  Developed and maintained close ties with the Ministère de l’Environnement, the Fonds Québecois de récupération and the Fonds 
    de collecte sélective, and asserted certain positions in connection with the development of environmental policies.
•  Following the Molson O’Keefe merger agreement, obtained, without delay, all ministerial approvals allowing the brewery to continue
    operating its two breweries and sixty-three distribution centres under the new legal entity.
•  Following the Molson O’Keefe merger agreement, merged and reorganized the new entity’s legal services (Québec region).
•  As representative of his employer within the Standing Committee of the Association des Brasseurs du Québec, participated actively
    in all major tax, regulatory and public affairs files (1986-1990).
•  Acted as spokesperson to the media (radio and newspapers) during the announcement of the Molson and O’Keefe breweries merger 
    and emphasized the positive aspects of this change.
•  Acted as spokesperson during the announcement of a rationalization of a major distribution network.
•  Acting with other industry members, controlled and monitored the actions of an individual who threatened to contaminate products, 
    and assisted the authorities in order to charge the said individual.
•  Participated in developing a new public affairs program (alcoholic beverages) urging consumers to consume alcoholic
